In His time, the Lord called home William “Bill” Luinstra of Strathroy, formerly of Kincardine, in his 87th year, as well as his beloved wife, Rennie Feddema, in her 83rd year, Aug. 27, 2020. William was predeceased by his wife, Joanne Luinstra, in 2004; and Rennie was predeceased by her husband, John Feddema, in 2007. William and Rennie will be dearly missed by their families. He was the loving father of Wayne, who predeceased him in 2000 (Aline); and surviving children, Ray (Marilyn), Tim (Cathy), Marleen and Brian (Kim). She was the loving mother of Janette, Frieda (Paul), Alice (Mel), Jack (Kelly) and Irene. William was a special Opa and will be dearly missed by his 11 grandchildren, Michelle, Jacob, Kristen, Alexa, Jaqueline, Craig, Ariel, Everett, Annika, Kylen and Samuel. He will also be missed by his brother, Dierk; and sisters, Marike and Jannie; as well as the extended Poot family. Sadly missed and remembered by his cousins, nieces and nephews and dear friends. William touched the lives of many during his working years at Ontario Power Generation (OPG) and his involvement in many community committees and volunteer organizations in both Kincardine and Strathroy. Rennie was the caring grandma of 10 grandchildren; and proud Beppe of 12 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by her brothers and sisters, Harry and Rick, (predeceased by Don) Linde, Effie and Menno and Jack. Remembered by the extended Feddema family, many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends. William and Rennie lived their lives full of faith, expressed in their devotion to their families and their passionate involvement in their church and communities. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your path straight.” --Proverbs 3:5-6. A graveside service for William will take place at the Kincardine Cemetery, Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, at 11 a.m., with both families having a private family service at a later date at the Westmount Christian Reformed Church in Strathroy.
