Anne Marie Tanner (née MacDonald) of Kincardine, died peacefully, Oct. 28, 2020, surrounded by family, at the Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton. She was 83. Survived by her husband of 59 years, Bryce Tanner; and her two children, Kim Tanner (Peter Harding) and Greg (Angie) Tanner. Proud Nannie of Deanie, Georgia and Ryan; she was always very interested and involved in their activities. Predeceased by her mother, Murdena MacDonald (née MacSween). Anne was an avid skier in her younger years, and spent time on the Kincardine tennis courts in the summer with her best friend, Ivanka Zuzek. A great lover of the outdoors, she loved walking with Bryce right up to the last few months. She was known for being kind-hearted; and her kids noted that she was never mad at them a day in their lives. Anne particularly enjoyed her time with her high school friends (the Big Seven) which included her life-long friend and cousin, Diane McGaw. A Celebration of Life will be held on a tentative date of Saturday, July 10, 2021, at the family home in Kincardine. Please visit Anne’s Facebook page for further updates.
