Roger John Clayton, formerly of Kincardine, died peacefully at Chartwell Westmount Long-Term Care Residence in Kitchener, Monday, Dec. 28, 2020, at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Micheline (née Theroux) Clayton (1997). Loving father of Michael (Anna) Clayton of Kitchener, and Louise Clayton of Milton. Dear grandpa of Noah, Violeta and William. Predeceased by his parents, John Clayton and Alice May Brown. He will be missed by the many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends who knew him. Roger was born in Hamilton, and settled into Kincardine where he worked at Bruce Power until his retirement. He spent many years as an active member of the Lake Huron Fishing Club, as well as Groundhog Divers II. Roger loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting, bird-watching, travelling and John Wayne movies. He also had a passion for hockey and football. Due to provincial restrictions, a private family service was held Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2020. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery.
