Gladys Adelaide “Benny” Murray (née MacGregor) of Kincardine, died surrounded by the love of her family, at Huron Shores Hospice, Wednesday, June 9, 2021, at the age of 90. Cherished wife of the late Raymond “Ray” Murray who predeceased her Sept. 2, 2017. Loving mother of Shirley Crossley of Kincardine, Sharon McGarvey (Chris) of Kincardine, and Brian Murray (Colleen) of Dorset. Dear grandmother of Michael Crossley (Katrina), Daniel Crossley, Ryan McGarvey (Brittany), Andrew McGarvey (Beth), Patrick McGarvey, Courtney Murray and Liam Murray. Fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Brooke, Paisley, Olivia, Kate, Maddy and Grayson. Also survived by her siblings, Marion MacLeod, Sam MacGregor and Shirley Colquhoun; and sisters-in-law, June McGregor and Edna Williams; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents, Norman and Annie (née McLeod) MacGregor; daughter-in-law, Tammi Keggenhoff; siblings, Donna Howard and Mort McGregor; and in-laws, Donald MacLeod, Joan MacGregor, Robert Colquhoun and Bud Williams. A private graveside service, to honour Gladys’ life, will be held at the Ripley Cemetery, Saturday, June 12, with Ann Maycock officiating.
