SHELLEY FRANCES EVANS

June 28, 2021

Shelley Frances Evans died, unexpectedly at home, June 28, 2021, at the age of 53. Amazing Mom of her loving daughter, Quinn Evans, and partner Mitch Card. Beloved daughter of Alayne Evans and the late Ernest Evans. One-of-a-kind sister of Mary-K Hardy (John Hardy) and Angela Evans (Stephen Bent). Always remembered by her many aunts, uncles, cousins and two step-nephews. Lifetime friend and cohort of Cynthia Reimann and Shelly 1.5 McConnell. Shelley lived her life to the fullest. Her dry wit was legendary. She loved working at Meridian Cruises and doing some island-hopping for a few years. She then worked at Basics and Open Text. Throughout all of these years, she touched the lives of her co-workers with her friendship and positivity. Becoming a Mom to Quinn was the highlight of her life. She was involved in the breakfast program at the public school, was a great cheerleader at Quinn’s soccer events through all of the years, loved all their road trips for concerts and vacations, and was always there for support. To her family, Shelley’s laugh, smile and sometimes that dirty look, will always be remembered. Private cremation has taken place. Shelley's family will hold a celebration of life in Kincardine at a later date. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Henry Walser Funeral Home; www.henrywalser.com/. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Pulmonary Hypertension Association of Canada or the Cancer Care Ontario – Grand River Hospital, would be appreciated by the family.
