Marjorie Isabel MacLeod (England) of Lucknow died peacefully, Aug. 29, 2021, at the home of her daughter, Catherine, and partner, Shawn, in Blyth, surrounded by her family in a loving caring environment. She was 89. Devoted mother of Brenda Morrison (Ken), Bonnie MacLeod (Andy Bingle), John MacLeod (Sandy) and Catherine Hunter (Shawn McMahon). Cherished grandmother of seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Also lovingly remembered by Malcolm MacLeod (Valerie). Predeceased by her husband, Donald MacLeod; brothers, Bill, Don and Jack England; and sisters, Ruth Binder, Betty Humphrey and Shirley Smith. Sadly missed by brother-in-law, Ross Smith of Brussels. She will also be greatly missed by several nieces and nephews, and her extended family. Marjorie was an avid card player, reader and baker. She enjoyed life to the fullest. To the world, she was a mother, but to our family, she was the world. Due to present COVID-19 restrictions, a private family graveside service will be held at South Kinloss Cemetery, Sept. 1, 2021.
