Ron Pollock of Ripley, died at the Kincardine hospital, Friday, June 24, 2016, at the age of 61. Greatly missed by Myra; son, Mark (Meagan) Pollock of Ripley; and granddaughter, Mya. Also survived by his family: Shirley Courtney of London, Geraldine Schlosser of Walkerton, Veronica Fraser of Vernon, B.C., Pat Good of Goderich, Brenda Steffler of Teeswater, Wanda Rolston of Vernon, B.C., Edwin Purvis of Palmerston and Michael Schlosser of Listowel, and their families. Predeceased by Kay Quinn and Darwin Pollock. Visitation was held at the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Ripley, Sunday, June 26, 2016, from Noon to 2 p.m., immediately followed by a celebration of Ron's life at the Ripley Legion. Interment Ripley Cemetery. Donations to the Kincardine hospital, London Health Sciences Centre or a trust fund for Mya, are greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
