Donald “Don” Austin, formerly of Point Clark and Waterloo, died peacefully, at South Muskoka Memorial Hospital, Bracebridge, Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021, in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Delores “Tina” (Becker) Austin (2005). Cherished father of the late Christine (2012), and Sherry and her husband, Bob. Proud grandpa of Kyle Holmes, Wesley Holmes, Jason Colliver (Josh), and Stacey Colliver (Mike). Fondly remembered by the Becker family. Predeceased by his sister, Doreen. Don and Tina raised their family in the Kitchener-Waterloo area. In 1989, he retired from B.F. Goodrich, and they moved to Point Clark. Always wanting to keep busy, Don started his own lawn maintenance business, which he ran for more than 25 years. When it finally came time for retirement, he moved to Huntsville in 2019 to be closer to family. He will be remembered for instilling love and hard work into those he loved. A private family funeral will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, 2021. Interment, Clinton Cemetery.
