Agnes Eileen MacKinnon (nee Campbell), beloved wife of the late George F. MacKinnon, died peacefully, with family by her side, at Huronview in Clinton, Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022, in her 92nd year. Born in Kincardine, on April 27, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Irene (nee Norman) and Duncan Campbell. Dear mother of Jim of Goderich. Greatly missed by her grandchildren, Colin (Tara), Corrine, and Cameron; and great-grandchildren, Duncan, Kelly, Brody, Brynlee and Piper. Also survived by her sisters, Chris Moulton of Tiverton and Ruth Siegel of Inverhuron. Predeceased by her son, Don; brother, John Campbell; and sisters, Jean Catto, Margaret Weber, Isabel Brindley, Betty Eskrick, Cecelia Kidd and Helen Shaw. Agnes will be dearly missed by her numerous friends and family, who will remember fondly so many moments we lived together. We’ll forever recall gathering to laugh and share our lives around the kitchen table. Often it was over a game of cards or if you were lucky, a bowl of her renowned homemade soup. We’ll never forget her beautiful smile and laugh, or the way she patiently taught us all how to live with humility and grace. Mostly, we’ll strive to always uphold her undying support for family. This was always her first care each day of her life. A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation are greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy; arrangements entrusted to the MacKenzie and McCreath Funeral Home, Lucknow.
