MANNFRED VAUGHN "MANNY" MORRIS

February 5, 2022

Mannfred Vaughn “Manny” Morris of Kincardine, died unexpectedly at his home, Feb. 5, 2022, at the age of 72. Beloved partner of Bonnie Wheeler. Father of Amanda Morris and Jenny Mae Krutzkamp, and devoted companion of Dusty. Grandpa and helping hand of Bonnie’s children and grandchildren. Survived by his big sisters, Alice Johnston, Helga Gertsen, and Ellen (Jim) Hodgins; sister-in-law, Brennie Pedersen; and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Leo and Maya Morris; stepbrother, Leif Pedersen; brothers-in-law, Art Johnston and Kai Gertsen; and foster brother, Ron Powers. Born in Noranda, Quebec, and moving to Ontario in his youth, Manny became an electrician with IBEW Hamilton Local 105, working on many projects throughout Ontario. He lived in Chesley where he had his motorcycle shop and raised his family. For the past 13 years, he has resided in Kincardine where he reunited with the love of his youth, Bonnie Wheeler. Throughout his life, he pursued his passion of motorcycles and cars, and he could often be found looking for the next treasure to fix or sell. He was a brilliant mechanic, had the most awesome laugh, and his kind and gentle soul will be remembered by many. Cremation has taken place. The family asks that you raise a glass to Manny, play a Harry Chapin tune, and think of him riding his favourite Moto Guzzi in the sky. Donations in Manny’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada; arrangements entrusted to the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine; www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com.
