Bonnie Sue Palmateer (nee Meyer) of Kitchener, formerly of Kincardine, died Saturday, May 14, 2022, after a brief battle with cancer. She was 64. She met and married the love of her life and best friend, Jeff Palmateer, in 1996. She supported him through her strength, selflessness, kindness and pureness of heart, for 26 years. They shared many goals and dreams from the beginning, achieving them all as wonderful adventures throughout their life together. She was blessed with an artistic gift that she shared through her paintings and decorating talents to make a house a home. Her compassion for the world was evident in her love of people and animals, always the first to lend a helping hand and sharing the bright side of life. Most of all, her gift as a clairvoyant has helped many people over the years find the right path for this journey. Bonnie will be remembered and cherished as the angel that she was and always will be, to her husband, Jeff, friends, family, and to all those who encountered her on this earthly journey. She was predeceased by her loving mother, Elizabeth Edna (Betty) Meyer; dear father, Howard J. Meyer; and her loving brother, Bill Meyer. A Celebration of Bonnie’s life will be held Sunday, May 22, 2022, at the Westmount Memorial Celebration Centre, Kitchener, with visitation from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by tributes and lunch. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be welcome. Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be shared at www.westmountfuneralchapel.com, for the Palmateer family. |
