The Lord called home His faithful servant, Irene (Farrell) Boyle, June 10, 2022, in her 94th year. Irene lived a long and productive life, always showing respect, care, and compassion for others. She leaves to mourn Bryan (Janet) Boyle, Bonnie Boyle, Kerry Boyle, Heather (Sam) Finnie, and Corinne (John) Louther. Loved and adored by 15 grandchildren, Jessica (Andrew) Butts, Brittany Boyle (Alan McKenzie), Matthew Boyle (Emily Kiddie), Shane Harrigan (Ping Lin), Mallory Harrigan, Skye Harrigan (River Kawa), Gabrielle (Greg) Smith, Spencer Finnie (Christina Fanone), Brandon Finnie (Sara Gossell), Joseph Finnie, Bo Louther, Colton Louther (Maddi Bishop), Chase Louther, Taylor (Chad) Nicholson and Madison (Kenny) McBride. She will also be missed by her daughter-in-law, Tracey (Jamie) Matthews-Hodge; son-in-law, Kevin Harrigan; and sisters-in-law, Bessie Farrell, Marjory Armstrong and Mary Boyle. Irene’s strong organizational skills and positive attitude allowed her to provide support to all her children's interests, including sports, church, school, music, and 4-H activities. She was involved in many church and spiritual organizations over her lifetime. She was also engaged in, and provided leadership to, many community organizations, such as 4-H, Farm Forum, Folk School, Women's Institute, and the Purple Grove Community Centre.
