KLAUS FRIEDEMANN HEINISCH

Klaus Friedemann Heinisch of Kincardine, died peacefully at Trillium Court Seniors’ Community, Kincardine, Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at the age of 84. Born in Glatz, Germany, June 13, 1938, he was the son of the late Klara (Rathner) and Josef Heinisch. He came to Canada in 1958 as a 20-year-old, seeking new adventure and opportunity. He forged a wonderful life with his wife and sons, with hard work, determination and loyalty. Beloved husband of Janet “Dianne” Heinisch (nee MacDonald). Greatly missed by his two sons, Joseph (Janet) Heinisch and Karl (Christine) Heinisch; and cherished Opa of Klara, Tyler, Kayla and Nicholas. Remembered by his sisters, Johanna (Harry) Wirtulars and Ursula (Enno) Heinisch-Teike; brother-in-law, Jack (Christine) MacDonald; nieces, Monika (Dierk) Schittkowski and Susanne Dethloff (Wirtulars); and nephews, Darrin (Charlie) MacDonald and Matt (Meaghan) MacDonald. Also survived by great-nieces and -nephews in Germany and Canada. Following Klaus’ wishes, cremation has taken place and a private interment will be held at the Ripley Cemetery. A public celebration of his life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Ripley-Huron Community Centre or the Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
