JAMES BRIAN "SPOOK" SPENCE

James Brian “Spook” Spence of Kincardine died peacefully, at home with his wife, Beverly; brother, Bill; and sister-in-law, Bev, at his side, June 27, 2022, He was 77. Born Oct. 30, 1944, in Edmonton, he was raised in Listowel, the oldest of four children of Dr. Bruce and Lilian (née Stilborn) Spence - Brian, Bill, Virginia and Peter. Brian grew up spending his summers fishing and playing on the beach at the family cottage in Point Clark. His quick wit and interesting stories about dogs and cars, will be missed. He had a love of the Blues, his long-time friends, and enjoyed every baseball, football and hockey game he could fit in. Brian will be missed by his family, friends, Auntie Anne, and his many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held later this summer. Rest in Peace, Brian.
