Marjorie Armstrong of Kincardine, died peacefully, Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022, at Trillium Court Seniors’ Community, Kincardine, in her 96th year. Predeceased by her loving husband, Aurel Armstrong (1995); and son, Lynn Armstrong (2000). Loving mother of Dale (Pam), Wayne (Debbie), and Brent (Linda). Also dearly remembered by her daughter-in-law, Mary Armstrong (Al Jamieson). Proud grandmother of 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her siblings, Olive Hughes (Bill), Jim Boyle, Edna Fowler (Fred), and Francis Boyle (Irene); and in-laws, Joyce and Dawson Pollock. Survived by her sister in-law, Mary Boyle. Marjorie was a devoted homemaker on the family dairy farm where she and Aurel raised their four sons. She was an active member in her church and community. Her four sons kept her busy, coming and going with their sporting activities. Marjorie was a person with a great strength of character, overcoming many obstacles and, thus, was greatly respected by her family and everyone who knew her. Visitation will be held at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Monday, Sept. 19, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. where the funeral will follow at 1 p.m., with Pastor Kenneth Craig officiating. Final resting place, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, Huron Shore Hospice or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
