He moved to Point Clark when his son, Dean, took over the farm, but he always found an excuse to continue getting on a tractor. Ron clocked many miles driving commercial tractor trailers as a short-haul trucker. He was an avid curler and an active, long-standing member of Pine River United Church. He enjoyed the people in his community and was always ready to offer support. Visitation will be held Friday, Dec. 2, 2022, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Pine River United Church where the funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m., with Pastor Wonder Chimvinga officiating.
