Marcia “Gail” Foxcroft of Kincardine died peacefully, Dec. 1, 2022, surrounded by her family at the Kincardine hospital. Born in Hamilton, Sept. 9, 1952, she was the daughter of Reginald and Joan Quinlan. For 70 years, Gail had a fiery spirit, patience, and a deep gentleness that was enjoyed by everyone around her. As a Registered Nurse throughout southwestern Ontario, Gail built many beautiful and lasting friendships over the years, and was known for her hard work and dedication to the field of nursing. She will forever be remembered for her artistic flair, generous heart, and knack for finding a great bargain. Gail began a loving marriage to William Foxcroft in 1974, and they shared in many precious memories, trips, and seeking antique treasures, for 49 years. They raised five children with incredible love and patience, nurturing them to share their talents with one another and the world. She is survived by her loving husband William; and their four children and their partners, Heather and Brad, Ryan and Sara, Andrew and Mara, and Victoria and Garrett. In addition to their children, Gail is mourned by nine beautiful grandchildren, Morgan, Lucan, Lake, Joan, Maple, Ellie, Winter, Forrest, and Dawson; and her brothers and sisters, Cathy, Chris, Janice, Nancy, Matt, and Mary Ann. In heaven, Gail is wrapped in the loving arms of her parents, in-laws, brothers, sisters, and her dear son, Tyson. She will be forever cherished for her strength and bravery. A private ceremony will be held with family and friends. A celebration of life will be organized in the warm weather of 2023.
