Lois Luescher (née Jarvis), died peacefully, at the South Grey Bruce Health Centre, Kincardine, Dec. 23, 2022, at the age of 90. Predeceased by her beloved husband, William Luescher (2009). Loving mother of Dave (Cheryl) of Woodstock and Bruce (Mary Jane) of Point Clark. Cherished grandmother of Kristine (Mike) of Barrie, Kimberly of Woodstock, Jesse (Megan) of Kincardine, Kale of Point Clark, and Kobe (MacKenzie) of Sarnia. Great-grandmother of Cole, Kara, Laura (Michael), Robin (Brendan), Joe, Julia (Xander), Melissa, Kendra, Aaliyah, Keagan, Nate, Ethan and Logan. Dear sister of Doug Jarvis, Gerry Jarvis and June Spencer. Predeceased by her grandson, Keith (2010); great-granddaughter, April Marie (2005); brother, Norm Jarvis (Ev); and in-laws, Jean Jarvis, Betty Jarvis, Marjorie Jarvis, Jack Spencer and Erna and Arn Johnson. Lois was an avid quilter and enjoyed the connection with others that this creative work brought. She had a head for figures and her accounting and costing skills were well-known. Lois touched the lives of many, and she will be remembered. Family will receive friends at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, from Noon to 1 p.m., followed by a memorial service at 1:30 p.m., with Ann Maycock as celebrant. Spring interment, Pine River United Church Cemetery. Memorial donations to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. |
