BERNARD "BEN" CLEARY |
February 2, 2023 |
Bernard “Ben” Cleary of Vernon, British Columbia, formerly of Kincardine, died Feb. 2, 2023, at the age of 78. Ben, also known as “Uncle” Benny to many (related or not), was a proud Newfoundlander from a large family, and so he loved to tell a good story. Anyone who spent time with him will remember the laughing.?He and his wife, Maureen, raised their son, Paul, and daughter, Sharon, in Nova Scotia, and then moved to Ontario where they eventually started their own business in Kincardine (Critter Cravings), and ran it for 14 years. In 2008, they followed their children to B.C. and retired in the Okanagan. He filled our lives with smiles and love and will be missed by cherished family and friends. Ben had a special bond with his Kincardine family, brother, Noel (Corinne), and their children, Sarah-Anne and Daniel. You don’t realize how much love you have for someone until you need to say goodbye. Rest in Peace, Ben.?Life won’t be the same without you. |
