TIM HENDERSON

February 15, 2023

Tim Henderson of Kincardine died peacefully at home, surrounded by his family, Feb. 15, 2023, at the age of 59. Beloved husband of Wendy Henderson. Loving father of Rebecca Henderson (Randy Seemangal) and proud Papa of Ryker Seemangal. Fondly remembered by his siblings, Paul Henderson, Sandi McCann and Terry Henderson; sisters-in-law, Judi Moore-Gwynne (Doug), Brenda Bennett, Shirley Cassel; and brother-in-law, Dennis Cassel (Linda). Predeceased by his parents, Jean and Roy Henderson; sister, Sherri-Lynn Henderson; his mother-in-law, Stella Cassel; and brother-in-law, Rodney Cassel. Tim was a people person - he loved people and they loved him. He was a dedicated Toronto Maple Leafs fan from day one, sticking by his team and dreaming of the day the Leafs would bring home the cup. When he wasn’t cheering on his team, Tim could be talked into a round of golf with the guys, something he immensely enjoyed. Tim cherished the memories of many family vacations over the years and cruising was his absolute favourite. Most of all, he loved the time he spent with his family and friends. He touched the lives of many and he will be deeply missed. A special thank you to family, friends and Tim’s care team; specifically, Dr. Daniel Soong and Katrina, his VON nurse, for their guidance and compassion, as well as the amazing nursing staff at the Kincardine hospital. A big heartfelt thank you to family and friends for the outpouring of support, kindness and love. Family will receive friends at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Sunday, Feb. 19, 2023, from 1-3 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The memorial service will be held Monday, Feb. 20, 2023, at 1 p.m., with Ann Maycock officiating. Visitation will run from 12 p.m. until time of service. Reception to follow. If so desired, memorial donations in Tim’s memory, to Community Living of Kincardine and District or a charity of your choice, would be appreciated by his family.
