Rev. Peter Arthur Stopford of Kincardine, died at Trillium Court Seniors’ Community, Kincardine, Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2023, at the age of 87. Beloved husband of 60 years to Marion Stopford (née Waud) who predeceased him in 2021. Remembered by his children, Andrew Stopford (Valerie), Matthew Stopford (Kim), Sandra Benbow (Rodney), John Stopford (Maggie) and Elspeth Cholagh (David); 21 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Also survived by his brother, David Stopford (Rosemary). Predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Phyllis (née Mucklestone) Stopford; and sister, Joyce Bone (Jack). Visitation will be held at the Lighthouse Fellowship Baptist Church, Kincardine, Friday, March 3, 2023, from 12 noon until time of the funeral at 1 p.m, with Pastor Stephen Gordon officiating.
