Born in London and raised in Bramalea, Joanne was a champion with the Bramalea Lions Majorettes and Drum Corp, winning the world championship and making many life-long friends along the way. She was always cheering on her son, Daniel, and grandson, Darren, at their various sporting events in Kincardine, where Joanne and Mark have lived happily for the past 27 years. Her grandchildren, Darren and Amelya, were always spoiled with smiles, hugs and unconditional love. Joanne worked at Fincher’s Book and Gift Shop in downtown Kincardine for many years. She would take every chance she had, to talk about how proud she was of her family, happily bragging about any recent achievements to anyone who would listen. Her family thanks the nurses and doctors at the South Grey Bruce Health Centre in Kincardine, for their kindness and care. A celebration of life will be planned at a later date.
