Beverley Dunlop of Kincardine, died at the Kincardine hospital, Monday, March 6, 2023, at the age of 90, surrounded by the love of her husband, Glen, and her children. She was a much-loved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Mom and Dad shared a wonderful and inspiring 73 years together, raising five children; then, being fortunate enough to enjoy 16 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. While Dad was on the road a lot providing for his family, mom was extremely busy at home raising the children, Kevin (Fran), Dave (Donna), Doug (Karen), Mike (Janine), and Trudy (Paul). When we think of Mom, we all have so many similar memories. First and foremost, was her utter strength. She’s the strongest person we know and that strength carried her through many battles. Her love and devotion to her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were special. She spent many years at arenas and ball parks, and that love of watching the kids continued with her grandchildren. Mom’s biggest talent was her cooking and baking. We were always in awe of how she managed to cook for our Dunlop tribe for holiday dinners, and we were all so lucky to be the recipients of her delicious baking. She lived a long, happy life, bestowing on all of us the best of herself and because of that, we are all richer. As a family, we give our sincere gratitude to the entire staff at the Kincardine hospital, in particular, the wonderful nurses who cared for Mom. A special thank you to Dr. Jonah for his compassion and gentle manner. Private family service and interment. If desired, donations to Community Living of Kincardine and District or the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, would be appreciated. Mom, It has broken us to lose you, but we are thankful for all you gave us. Rest easy now, no one deserves it more. |
