John Robert Henry “Bob” Mitchell of Kincardine, died after a brief illness, at Grey Bruce Health Services, Owen Sound, Sunday, March 26, 2023, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of Debra Mitchell (née Moorehouse). Loving father of Joel (Donna) Mitchell, Kyle (Karen) Mitchell, Timothy Mitchell and Deanna (Matt) Wilsack. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Maddie Mitchell, Charlotte Mitchell, Nash Mitchell, Navy Mitchell, Gabby Wilsack, Cole Wilsack, Hailey Wilsack, Tenley Mitchell and Marley Mitchell. Dear brother of Jeff (Geraldine) Graham, Pam (Norm) Fenton, Cindy (John) Shales and Jeanette (Dave) Dewitt. Fondly remembered by his father-in-law, Bill Moorehouse; brothers-in-law, Kevin (Marg) Moorehouse, Scott (Katherine) Moorehouse; sister-in-law, Karen (Derrick) Burrows; special uncle, Bill Mitchell; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends and former Bruce Power co-workers. Predeceased by his parents, John Mitchell and Dorothy (née Eskrick) Graham; mother, Bernice Masterson (née MacDougall); step-father, Jack Graham; brother, Gregg Graham; and mother-in-law, Dorothy Moorehouse. Bob worked at Bruce Power until his retirement. He was also involved in Kincardine Minor Hockey. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Kincardine hospital and Owen Sound Intensive Care Unit for giving such good care to Bob. A memorial service will be held at Kincardine United Church, Friday, March 31, 2023, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Gord Dunbar officiating. Inurnment, Kincardine Cemetery.
