Lois Marie Farrish, beloved wife of the late Grant Farrish, formerly of Lucknow, died at Woodingford Lodge, Ingersoll, Saturday, April 15, 2023, at the age of 96. Born in Colborne Township, Jan. 10, 1927, she was the daughter of the late Mildred (Fisher) and Carman Feagan. Dear Mother of Janet (Livio) Versolatto of Dorchester and the late Barbara Elston. Survived by her son-in-law, Keith Elston (Heather Young) of Wingham; grandchildren, Emily (Brendan) Chester, Leanne (Lucas) Marks, Andrew (Jacqueline) Versolatto, Tessa (Derek) Anderson and Ryan (Katie) Versolatto; and great-grandchildren, Ava, Maren, Adleigh, Norah, Juliette, Lottie, Zeek and Leo. Also greatly missed by her sister, Joyce Stothers of Goderich; brother, Wayne Feagan of Hamilton; sister-in-law, Ann Feagan of Nile; and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother, Elwyn Feagan. Lois was a teacher for many years, working at North Ashfield Public School and then Brookside Public School where she taught Kindergarten until her retirement. The funeral will be held at the Lucknow Presbyterian Church, Tuesday, April 18, 2023, at 2 p.m., with visitation two hours prior (12-2 p.m.). Interment, Greenhill Cemetery, Lucknow.
