Gerald Brian “George” Kingyens of Tiverton, died peacefully, with family by his side, at Huron Shores Hospice in Tiverton, Saturday, May 13, 2023, at the age of 59. Loving spouse of Jackie Bridge. Greatly missed by his mother, Ruth Kingyens; his children, Jeremy Kingyens, Jordan (Kate) Kingyens, and Samantha (Chris) Whattam; grandchildren, Aubrey, Dallas, Dominic, Harper, Landis, Logan, Justin and Ryan; and his fur buddy, Simon. Also forever remembered by his siblings, Ron (Darlene) Kingyens, Kathy (Dan) Pennacchietti, Cheryl (John) Mayburry, Rod (Tanyia) Kingyens, Donna Scoggins, Cathy Curtis and Garry (Tanya) Bridge. Predeceased by his father, Ed Kingyens (2022); step-son, Scott David Hayes (2010); and brother-in-law, Owen Curtis (2022). George loved playing drums and singing with his bands. He was the best darn drywaller, with many, many friends. Following George’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a come-and-go celebration of his life will be held Friday, May 19, 2023, from 1-4 p.m. at the Hanover Legion (493 8th Avenue).
