Marion was always ready for a card game with friends and enjoyed sharing a joke and story with everyone. She loved going to her raspberry patch and turning the berries into delicious tarts to share. She was a talented quilter and often had a quilt set up in her living room. She enjoyed going to the quilting group of friends at Knox Presbyterian Church in Kincardine. Marion always told us she was going to live to be 100 (Oct. 10, 1921) and she did! Following Marion’s wishes, a private family graveside service will be held at the Kincardine Cemetery, Friday, June 30. If desired, memorial donations to Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine or a charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated as expressions of sympathy; arrangements entrusted to the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine; www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com. |
