Linda Dianne Scott (née Riley) died peacefully, surrounded by family, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Sunday, Nov. 12, 2023, in her 75th year. Cherished wife of Kenneth Robert Scott of Kincardine. Loving mother of Alvin and his wife, Lisa Storey (née Grigg), of Kincardine. Proud grandmother of Rebecca (Derek) Kilbertus of Port Elgin, and Brooke Storey and Marlise Storey of Kincardine. Linda will be missed by her siblings, Tom (Lillian) Riley of Owen Sound, Raymond (Ann) Riley of Blyth, Janette (Ken) Stoll of Seaforth, and Edward (Cherida) Riley of London; sisters-in-law, Deb Riley of Londesborough, and Betty Dale (née Storey) of Clinton; and step-father, Arnold Bruce of Belgrave. Predeceased by her parents, Alec and Ora (née Grealis) Riley; and brother, Wayne Riley. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and neighbours. Visitation will take place at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, Kincardine, Wednesday, Nov. 15, 2023, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m., where the funeral will be held Thursday, Nov. 16, 2023 at 11 a.m., with Rev. Rick Warne officiating. Interment, Kincardine Cemetery. Memorial donations to the CNIB, Tiverton Agricultural Society or Knox Presbyterian Church in Tiverton, would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
