Allen Wickert is new South Bruce Grey Health Centre board chairman

Allen Wickert is the new South Bruce Grey Health Centre board chairman, taking over from
John Haggarty who stepped down in mid-June. Wickert was chosen at the annual general meeting June 24.
After 20 years as a member of the board, Haggarty will return in 2015‐16 for his final year as past-chairman.
Haggarty joined the Durham Memorial Hospital’s board of directors June 22, 1995. In 1998, Durham was amalgamated with Kincardine, Walkerton and Chesley, to form the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, and Haggarty remained on the board.
As a member of the health centre board, Haggarty has participated on every committee and has served as chairman for at least three terms; most recently from 2012‐2015.
“With sincere thanks, we honour John (Haggarty) for his tireless efforts to provide sound governance and direction to continually improve health care in our region over the years,” says Paul Rosebush, president and chief executive officer of the health centre.
