Paisley artist has work displayed at Victoria Park Gallery for month of July
Award-winning Paisley artist Will Krisza is the guest artist for the month of July at the Victoria Park Gallery in downtown Kincardine.

Krisza has been creating surrealistic and abstract art for more than 30 years, mainly working in oils and clay sculpture. But six years ago, he moved to Bruce County and took up acrylics, preferring the medium for its bright colours and quicker drying time.

He won third place in acrylics at the Walkerton Juried Art Show in May, 2015.

Krisza lives in Paisley with his wife, five cats, and an incredibly lazy St. Bernard.

Also at the Victoria Park Gallery, check out the Open Book Auction, featuring gallery artists' work available for bid.

The auction runs until Aug. 21 when it will be taken to the Marine Heritage Festival and the winning bidders announced.

The gallery is located in the Kincardine Arts Centre in downtown Kincardine, Its summer hours are Monday to Saturday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sunday, Noon to 3 p.m.
