Bottom-line reasoning is wearing thin, says Kincardine resident

To the Editor:

Why are the South Bruce Grey Health Centre chief executive officer and the board not ecstatic about the chance for Kincardine hospital to get a Drive CT scanner?

Is there an issue with Walkerton hospital having the same scanner? When installed in Walkerton, it was heralded by Siemens as the showcase hub for the Drive technology and the future.

What has happened to select a cheaper machine with less capability, for Kincardine hospital?

The bottom-line reasoning is wearing thin.
