See you after yet another COVID-19 shut-down
To the Editor:
The irons are cooling, the cords are all wrapped
The “closed” sign is out and the scissors are all packed.
Our phone is now silent, our people were called
We tried our best to get to you all.
We miss you already, it’s sad we can’t stay,
But we will be back to see you, very soon, some day!
This month, we pray, will be short, as the bangs grow so fast,
And we want to get back to work, this COVID-19 will pass.
We love all your support, your stories and shares,
We are full of gratitude for all of your cares.
We count the days until we can get out the colour,
Our salon to be busy and hair that’s not duller!
Thank you for the weeks of support and all the good cheer,
We look forward to seeing you, serving you year-after-year.
The salon is so quiet, the street is so bare
And my heart is heavy, but a smile I wear.
Soon we will be back, we can chat and we can style,
We’ll see what changes this month will make, to know this was worthwhile.
So send us some messages, call us or chat,
We’ll meet you out front with products, so you won’t need your hat!
A month isn’t so long, and if we get provincial permit,
We will see you again, very soon - I just know it!
