ARREST MADE AT EARLY MORNING DISTURBANCE
(WALKERTON, ON) – July 25, at 4:50 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a disturbance at an apartment complex located along Colborne Street in Walkerton.
Officers arrived to find that a woman had broken into one of the apartments which led to the disturbance. The suspect was found on the property and she refused to co-operate with the responding officers. A 27-year-old Brockton woman has been charged with two counts of assault, unlawfully in a dwelling, and resist peace officer. She was held in custody pending the results of a show cause hearing.
ATV STOLEN OVERNIGHT
(CARRICK TWP, ON) – July 28, at 8:02 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft from a residence in the 900 block of Bruce County Road 12 in Carrick Township.
Sometime between 10 p.m. July 27, and 7 a.m. July 28, a red 2008 Honda TRX All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) with Licence No. 51RR7, was taken from a detached shed on the property. The ATV has a Fimco sprayer and white holding tank attached. There is no estimate on the value available at this time. The serial number is on file with police.
COMMUNITY POOL BREAK-IN
(LUCKNOW, ON) – July 27, at 3:35 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a break-in at the Lucknow Community Pool located in the 600 block of Campbell Street in Lucknow.
Sometime between 4 p.m. July 26, and 12 p.m. July 27, the pool house was forcibly entered and a quantity of cash was taken. There is no estimate on the value of repairs at this time.
IMPAIRED DRIVER CAUGHT AT RIDE CHECK
(BRANT TWP, ON) – July 25, at 3:02 a.m., members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting a RIDE check on Sideroad 30 North in Brant Township, when a silver Toyota Tercel was stopped.
Officers found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Thirty-nine-year-old Ross TURNER of Arran-Elderslie Township has been charged with operate over-80 milligrams. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 24, to answer to the charge.
