Arrest made in clothing theft investigation in Walkerton

(WALKERTON, ON) – The South Bruce OPP has arrested a Brockton man in connection with a clothing theft in Walkerton.

July 12, at 12:55 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a theft at a residence along Colborne Street in Walkerton. Sometime between 10 p.m. July 10, and 8 a.m. on July 11, ladies clothing was taken off a clothes line on the property.
 

The South Bruce OPP continued the investigation with assistance from the South Bruce OPP Crime Unit.  The investigation culminated on July 26, with an arrest. Twenty-one-year-old Curtis ANDERSON of Brockton has been charged with three counts of theft under $5,000, three counts of trespass by night, and three counts of possess stolen property. He is scheduled to appear in court Aug. 31, to answer to the charges.
