Point Clark Lighthouse Festival two-day event is this weekend

This year's Point Clark Lighthouse Festival (also known as the corn roast and car show) is a two-day event, beginning Friday night and running through Saturday, Aug. 7-8.

It includes a Gala Dinner, Friday night featuring a catered meal, wine-tasting, craft beer-tasting, Pine River Cheese-tasting, a silent auction and live entertainment by the Howlin' Dogs Swing Band.

Tickets are $35 each and include a sunset tour of the Point Clark Lighthouse; tickets are available at the Huron-Kinloss Township office, Point Clark Lighthouse, Ripley's Variety and the Village Pizzeria in Point Clark.
 

Saturday features a family festival from 1-4 p.m., with lots of free children's events including; face painting, sand-castle building, giant kite flying demonstration, paddle board rentals and more.

Saturday evening, enjoy the corn roast and car show from 4:30-8 p.m., with live music sponsored by Studio C.
