Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be holding a Vacation Bible School (Babylon - stories of Daniel’s courage), running Monday, Aug. 10, to Friday, Aug. 14, from 8:45-11:45 a.m. each day, for children who are entering Senior Kindergarten up to age 11.
Tiverton Knox Presbyterian Church will be having a Barbecue Luncheon, Monday, Aug. 17, at Noon; free will donation. Hosted by the Restoration Committee.
Tiverton Park Manor will be hosting its annual Cruise Night, Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 5 p.m. There will be music, a barbecue and prizes. Shine them up and show them off! All car enthusiasts with their favourite vehicles, any year, any make, can come out to display their pride and joy.
Saturday, Aug. 15, SCAVENGER HUNT, 9 a.m. to Noon. The hunt is for all ages and sizes. Put your team together and come out and have some fun exploring the places and history of Inverhuron!
The Wesley Underwood Pork Chop Supper will take place Monday, Aug. 17, at the Underwood Community Centre. There will be two sittings: 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Adults, $17; children (five to 11 years of age), $9; with pies for dessert. Is everyone wondering where the airport house is going? It is being moved to Bruce County Road 15 in Inverhuron. Watch for the big move, it’s getting close.
Renovations have finally begun on McMann’s in Underwood. The office is located in a trailer on-site and it's business as usual. Good luck to Larry and staff.
