South Bruce OPP report two impaired drivers charged

IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT
 

(WALKERTON, ON) – Aug. 7, at 11:34 p.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol, stopped a grey Chevrolet Impala on Victoria Street in Walkerton. 

The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. Forty-one-year-old Brian BURLOCK of Brockton has been charged with operate over-80 milligrams and novice driver with blood alcohol above zero. He is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 7, to answer to the charges.
 

IMPAIRED DRIVER INVOLVED IN TWO-VEHICLE CRASH
 

(BRUCE TWP, ON) – Aug. 7, at 7:25 a.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Bruce County Road 20 and Highway 21 in Bruce Township. 

Officers arrived to find that a grey Toyota Corolla, travelling on Bruce County Road 20, had pulled into the path of a red Ford Mustang that was southbound on Highway 21. The driver of the Corolla was found to have been drinking alcohol. Eighteen-year-old William MILLER of Burlington was charged with impaired driving, operate over-80 milligrams, novice driver with blood alcohol above zero, and fail to yield. 

He is scheduled to appear in court Sept. 14, to answer to the charges. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
