POLICE SEEK WITNESSES FOR DOWNTOWN DAMAGE
(WALKERTON, ON) – Aug. 23, at 5 a.m., a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol along Durham Street East in Walkerton, noticed park benches and garbage cans had been overturned.
In addition, the officer noted that plants had been ripped out of planters. There is no estimate on the cost of damages, available at this time.
THREE-DAY SUSPENSION SERVED AT RIDE CHECKPOINT
(HURON TWP, ON) – Aug. 22, at 11:42 p.m., members of the South Bruce OPP were conducting a RIDE check on Lake Range Drive in Huron Township, when a grey Toyota Tundra pick-up truck was stopped.
Officers found that the driver had been drinking alcohol. A three-day driver’s licence suspension was served following a warn range result at the roadside.
