RE: “Kincardine councillor calls for staff accountability, during debate about Pickleball courts”
As physical exercise helps keep people out of hospitals, and mentally and emotionally stronger to deal with life stresses, it’s about time somebody turned up the heat on this matter!
Public facilities for physical exercise are even more important than ever, these COVID-19 days. And those days could turn to into years!
Kudos to any Kincardine council members who have ALSO run out of patience regarding expanding public facilities for the fastest-growing sport in North America – Pickleball! Its ever-increasing popularity makes it even a great asset for tourism.
Indoor courts should not be sacrificed, however, in the process. The intensity of today’s sun and heat is already causing some present seniors and others with skin problems and cancers, to have to stop playing outside ... and the sport just keeps growing!

As I understand it, the tennis courts belong to the Municipality of Kincardine.
