Plaque recognizing Eldon Humphreys is great idea, say readers

RE: “Kincardine urged to recognize Eldon Humphreys as Phantom Piper visionary”
Good for you, Keith Davidson!
I played ball with Eldon (an original of the present Do Over Gang) and bought one of his carvings before he left for Guelph.
Super nice guy who put family first. Sorry to hear of his passing.
Recently, I shared a picture including Eldon to try to name all the others in the picture.
I’m sure this will go ahead.

As a former resident, born in Kincardine, and having known both Eldon and Keith, I would like to see this just get done.
If you’re seeking support from former residents and friends, I am for it.

Such a thoughtful tribute to Eldon and another great suggestion by Keith.
I’m so happy the Davidson Centre already recognizes what Keith meant to the people in this town.
Now let’s get this plaque made.

Shame on Kincardine council for having to even think about this!
Thanks to Keith Davidson for his interest in tourism for this town.
Let’s get the plaque made!
