Thanks to those who donated locally in memory of Betty White

To the Editor:

I would like to thank the many donors who contributed to both Kathi Newell Nicholson (Adopt-a-Pet) and Donna Stephens Coughlan (Allies for Alley Catz), in memory of Betty White.

Having volunteered at both of these shelters, I know the endless hours and dollars these ladies put into rescuing animals, getting many health issues fixed, and then finding good homes for them.

So, thanks again to the donors and to Kathi and Donna!
