The South West Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) is running a free, six-week workshop on Thursdays, beginning Oct. 22, at the Tiverton Lions Hall. We all strive toward health and well-being. This goal can be hard to reach when dealing with a lifelong condition.
The South West CCAC Self-Management program offers this free workshop to take charge of your health. The workshop is run by two peer leaders who lead the group through six to eight activities each week of the six-week workshop. Sessions last for 2.5 hours and activities give participants the opportunity to try out and practise self management tools, share personal experiences and learn from other group members.
Take charge of your health pre-registration by calling toll free at 1-855-463-5692, by E-mail at info@swselfmanagement.ca or register on-line atwww.swselfmanagement.ca The Tiverton workshop is scheduled for Thursdays, from 1-3:30 p.m., Oct. 22 to Nov. 26.
