(HURON COUNTY, ON) – The OPP is hiring front-line police constables, and is seeking applicants who have the passion, commitment, and fortitude to become an OPP officer.
To attract the most competitive and diverse candidates, OPP Uniform Recruitment will host a one-day policing symposium, Thursday, Nov. 5, at the Hampton Inn, 840 Exeter Road, London.
The focus will be on applicants who are recent or potential graduates from Ontario community colleges and universities. Candidates will be required to submit an application form AND letter of support, from a past or current professor, instructor, or teacher, from secondary or post-secondary school.
Upon review, 30 applicants will be selected to attend this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity!
Learn what it takes to become a provincial constable! The keynote speaker will be Kate Lines, former OPP chief superintendent and Quantico-trained criminal profiler. Other guest speakers will include: front-line OPP officers, specialized units, special constable, auxiliary and provincial communication dispatchers.
