Bluewater Athletic Association tennis results

Bluewater Athletic Association Tennis 2015 was played Thursday (Oct. 1) at the Southampton tennis courts. Conditions were sunny but windy.

 

Saugeen District Secondary School, Port Elgin captured the team title, with a total of 40 points. In second place for the team title, was Georgian Bay Secondary School in Meaford, with 32 points, and in third place was West Hill Secondary School of Owen Sound, with 29 points.


Following are the top three in each division:

Girls singles
 

  • Cailyn Muir of West Hill, Owen Sound (WHSS)
  • Amy Hepburn of St. Mary's, Owen Sound (SMHS)
  • Cassidy Mason, WHSS


Boys singles
 

  • Utsab Roychowdhury, Saugeen District Secondary School (SDSS)
  • Michael Ruest, Georgian Bay Secondary School (GBSS)
  • Thomas Wolf, GBSS


Girls doubles
 

  • Sarah Routenburg and Katie Vilhakainen, Grey Highlands Secondary School (GHSS)
  • Rosalie Sawa and Katie Bridge, Peninsula Shores District School (PSDS)
  • Claire Prentice and Lauren Carr, WHSS


Boys doubles
 

  • Michael Postma and Nicholas Wolf, GBSS

Mixed doubles

The top two players/teams for each division have qualified to play at CWOSSA in Waterloo at the Northfield Racquet Club, Friday, Oct. 9.
