Windy, cold weekend for the Tiverton Fall Fair
It was a windy, cold weekend for the Tiverton Fall Fair, as people bundled up in winter coats, hats, scarves and mitts, to take in the many events and activities.
Long-time fair-goers revelled in the fact that there was neither rain nor snow at the fair.
Besides the pet show, poultry show and saddle horse and miniature horse shows, the fair featured the children's pedal tractor pull, and the lawn and garden tractor pull, as well as face-painting, Needle in a Hay Stack, petting zoo and pony rides, the midway, and a multitude of exhibits.
New this year was Hydro One's Electricity Discovery Centre which welcomed the public to roam through the interactive displays. People also had the chance to try milking a wooden cow, try some archery, win a cake, and enjoy a variety of great entertainment.
The day ended with the Fall Fair Dance to "Urban Rodeo."
More coverage of Sunday's events to follow, in the Kincardine Record.
