Sunday's events, including the Community Worship Service, the Truck and Tractor Bush Pull, the Medieval demonstration and the Blacksmith demonstration, rounded out the 154th Tiverton Fall Fair.
There were lots of winners as displayed by the following results:
The fair kicked off Friday evening, Oct. 2, with Danielle McBride being named 2015 Ambassador of the Fair. First runner–up was Jada Ellis, and the Friendship Award was presented to Rachel Eby.
The winner of the Princess of the Fair draw was Averee Haman. An Award of Distinction was presented to Eleanor Convay by Tiverton Agricultural Society president Tom Evans. Musical entertainment was provided by Thales and Sappho Hunter of Kincardine.
Rodney Ribey did a great job auctioning off all the prize-winning pies and cakes. Thank you to all the people who participated in this great fund-raiser. The person whose pies raised the Most Money at the Auction was Laurie Convay. Irene Howe was second, and Melanie MacPherson-Snow was third.
The winner of the Tiverton Agricultural Society quilt was Krisinda Alexander.
Saturday morning, Oct. 3, arrived bright and sunny.
POULTRY SHOW
This year, we had yet another successful poultry show. The judge, Norm Saito of Brantford, said there was a nice variety of birds and they were all in good condition. Also, he commented that the building was well lit and the displays very nicely organized.
Dave McCormick of Teeswater had the champion of the show with a Black Rosecomb bantam. Also congratulations to Spencer Adams who won the champion junior duck. Overall, this year's entries were up from last year and we hope to continue being successful! A special thanks to everyone who entered.

In the Miniature Horses our “Grand Champion” was owned by Paul Brown of Ingersoll, and the “Reserve Champion” belonged to Annette Kelly of Meaford.
In the “Saddle Horse show” we had 18 entrants showing. In the Novice Open Pleasure, 1st place went to Ashlynne Thede, 2nd Ivah Guy, 3rd Danielle Gutzke; in the Barrel Racing there were 14 entrants, in 1st place Angie Gowan, 2nd Carrie Cabral, 3rd place went to Liam Gowan, 4th Erika Tuck. Congratulations to all the winners.
