Kincardine Spring Rec Expo to showcase recreation, volunteer opportunities

The end of winter is just around the corner and thoughts are turning to spring and summer activities.
Representatives of organizations that keep people active and the community vibrant are heading to the Davidson Centre, Tuesday, March 21, for the 2023 Spring Recreation Expo.
All are welcome to join this free event, 6-8 p.m., where people will be on hand from various organizations, featuring the recreation and volunteer opportunities offered throughout the municipality.
The list of attendees includes:

- Kincardine Tennis Club
- Celtic Academy Irish Dance Canada
- Kincardine Agricultural Society
- Tour of Kincardine and Youth Cycling
- Rotary YMCA Camp Presqu’ile
- The Creative Collective
- Fanshawe College Huron-Bruce
- Inverhuron Ham Radio
- Bruce County Public Library – Kincardine and Tiverton Branches
- Kincardine Curling Club
- Watson Wellness
- Municipality of Kincardine - Swimming and Recreation Programs
- Municipality of Kincardine – Tourism
“We had a similar event in the fall of 2022,” says Karen Kieffer, manager of community programs. “It brought out so many great organizations and really shone a light on how much is going on in our community.
“We’re excited to do it again, but this time focused on our spring and summer offerings.”
