​Curtis Chaput wins “A” Flight at men’s night at Ainsdale Golf Course

Curtis Chaput won “A” Flight in the men’s league, Thursday (Aug. 22), at Ainsdale Golf Course, with a net score of 34.

Tied for second, were Scott Austin and Chris Lee, 35; and tied for fourth, were Cody Britton, Brandon Wilson, Oliver Pitre and Bill Preston, 36. Skins winners, were Chris Brown, Greg Scott and Derek Regier.

“B” Flight – Rory McDougall, 32; Mike Meraw, 33; David Berger, 34; and tied for fourth, Tyler Frook, Scott Langille and Darren Kirkpatrick, 35. Skins winners, were Blair Pollock, Cory Zettler, Tony Stapley and Meraw.

“C” Flight – Tied for first, Bryan Marsh, Matt Lovie and Joel Plater, 34; and tied for fourth, Art Jolley and Dennis Schmidt, 35. Skins winners, were Plater, Glyn Pinkney and Richard Ford.

“D” Flight – Don Grainger, 33; Daniel Rankin, 34; Jim Wrabko, 36; and tied for fourth, Bob Bradley, Chris Stam, Ranjith Sundaram, Brodie Ford, John Underwood and Nathan Brubaker, 37. Skins winners, were Sundaram and Jim Prenger.

There were 135 guys in attendance. The 50-50 winner was Keegan Newsham, $67.50.

The Men’s Club Championship will be held this weekend, Aug. 24-25.

The Men’s Closing Scramble will be Sunday, Sept. 15. This is a four-man scramble, with an “A,” “B,” “C,” and “D” Flight player per team. We will have team-betting, once again, and a meal and prizes.
