Tiverton Fall Fair set for this weekend, Oct. 4-6

The Tiverton Agricultural Society is welcoming everyone to the fall fair this weekend, Oct. 4-6, with the theme: “Pumpkin Kisses and Autumn Wishes.”
Exhibits will be accepted Thursday night and Friday morning, with the officially opening of the fair Friday at 7 p.m., featuring the Tiny Tot Ambassador Competition, Local Entertainment Showcase, and the Pie and Cake Auction.
Also on Friday, are the midway, laser tag on the ball diamond, and beer gardens at the Lions Hall.
Saturday morning begins with the Tiverton Lions Breakfast from 8-10:30 a.m.
The Saddle Horse Show is at 10 a.m., along with the Miniature Horse Show and the Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull.
The parade begins at 11 a.m., running from just west of Tiverton to the fairgrounds.
Saturday afternoon features the midway, Lawn and Garden Tractor Pull, Mad Scientist, Kids' Bean Box, Archery Challenge, Lions Cake Wheel, Kids Scavenger Hunt and Needle in a Haystack.
Also in the afternoon, are the Antique Tractor Display, Kids’ Pedal Tractor Pull, and beer gardens with live entertainment at the Whitney Crawford Community Centre.
The day ends with the Fall Fair Dance (age of majority) from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Sunday morning, there will be a Community Church Service at 10 a.m., a the community centre, as well as a Craft Show in the Annex, Mad Scientist, the midway, a Children’s Pet Show, and beer gardens in the Lions Hall.
Registration for the Truck and Tractor Pull begins at 10 a.m., and the event is at 12:30 p.m.
