Kincardine Bulldogs split games on the weekend

The Kincardine Bulldogs are trailing the Pollock Division in the Provincial Junior Hockey League, with one win, seven losses and one over-time loss.
On the weekend, they downed Mitchell, but lost to Fergus, both on home ice at the Davidson Centre.
Friday night, the Bulldogs took a 3-2 overtime win against the Mitchell Hawks.
Scoring for Kincardine, were Caeleb Bowler with two, and Sawyer Olmstead with the game-winning goal in overtime.
Assists came from Bryce Martin, Olmstead, Jordan Moulton, Aiden Yarde, and Cooper Love. Kincardine goalie Ryan Tanner made 33 saves on 35 shots.
Saturday night, Fergus came to town and went home with a 4-2 win.
Scoring for Kincardine, were Olmstead from Mouton and Blake Hellyer; and Kohen Matthews from Dustin Heipel and Jordan Beisel.
Bulldogs goalie Rowen Cherrett made 28 saves on 32 shots.
The ‘Dogs are on the road next weekend, travelling to Wingham, Oct. 18, for an 8 p.m. game; and to Mount Forest, Oct. 19, for an 8 p.m. game.
The following weekend, they have three games: in Walkerton, Oct. 25, for a 7:30 p.m. game; back in Kincardine, Oct. 26, for a 7:30 p.m. game against Goderich; and in Fergus, Oct. 27, for a 3 p.m. game.
